Master of Theological Studies
The Master of Theological Studies degree is a general interest theological degree. The student in this program will achieve a general understanding of the theological disciplines – Scripture, theology, history and pastoral studies.
Students may approach the program in one of two ways. Those interested in a broad knowledge can take their elective courses across many disciplines and conclude the program with an integrative paper or project. Others who are interested in an in-depth knowledge of a specific discipline of theological studies may specialize and produce a thesis. With careful planning and course selection, the M.T.S. could lead to doctoral studies or other applications.
Core courses for the M.Div., the M.T.S. and the M.R.E. are scheduled Tuesday evenings to allow for part time study.
