KNB3930 – Biblical Hermeneutics

Course Description: An exploration of contemporary hermeneutical theories, including those of Heidegger,
Gadamer, Habermas, Ricoeur and Levinas. This is an interdisciplinary course, which integrates
aspects of biblical studies with philosophy, semiology and theology. Journals; assignment;
major essay.

Prerequisite: Greek Exegesis KNB 2131HF AD students enrol in KNB6930HF.

Schedule: Wednesday, 9:00 to 11:00
